Calendula Cream Purpose and What are the Uses and Properties!

Calendula cream is one of the most effective skin care products. Calendula is a perennial plant that belongs to the Daisy family, Asteraceae. It is said that this plant originated in Egypt and other Mediterranean countries, but is now grown as an ornamental plant worldwide. Calendula has bright yellow, orange yellow or orange red flowers that are known for their numerous and excellent medicinal uses, such as the treatment of cramps, constipation and ulcers.

Calendula flowers are harvested in full bloom and dried before use as medicinal and culinary herbs. In addition, this cream is made from the flowers of calendula, which is known to be an effective treatment for circulatory problems, eye infections, menstrual cramps and menopause disorders. In addition to its medicinal use, Calendula petals are edible and are generally used as a garnish. Its leaves can also be eaten and added to salads and soups. While this plant is fast to grow and easy to grow, its harvest can be very time consuming because the flowers form over a long period of time and mature individually.
